The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team split on Tuesday afternoon falling 6-1 against Indianapolis before earning a 5-2 win over Edinboro.  

In the win over Edinboro, Amanda Leone's 2 RBI home run bossted the Spartans giving them a 3-0 lead in the top of the 3rd.  Valerie Winalski added an RBI single in the 4th as the Spartans added two more runs to secure a 5-0 lead.  Colleen Borum picked up her second win with 1 strike out through 7 innings.  

The Spartans will play Augustana (S.D.) and Post (Ct) on Wednesday.
