St. Thomas Aquinas College Softball player Sarah Clancy was named the East Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 5-1 week on the diamond, with wins over Queens, Mercy and D'Youville last week.

Clancy (Chino Hills, Calif.) posted a 3-0 record with a 1.40 ERA and 29 strike outs over 25 total innings of work last week for STAC. The senior lefty also becomes the fifth pitcher in program history to eclipse the 100-strikeout mark.

STAC (24-18, 12-2 ECC) next hosts Post University on Tuesday (April 23) in a non-conference doubleheader scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m.
