St. Thomas Aquinas College Softball player Eliana Raposo was named the East Coast Conference Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 3-1 week on the diamond, with victories over Bentley University and Dominican University last week.

Raposo (Wareham, Mass.) hit .462 (6-for-13), with a double and a triple over four games last week with the Spartans. The sophomore pitcher/outfielder also drive in four runs and scored another three. Eliana also dazzled on the mound, winning both of her starts while only allowing 10 hits and an unearned run. She also struck out five batters vs. just two walks. 

STAC (7-13) next hosts Felician University on Wednesday, March 20 in a non-conference doubleheader that starts at 2:30 p.m.
