St. Thomas Aquinas College Softball player Eliana Raposo was named the East Coast Conference Player of the Week, for a second straight week on Monday, following the Spartans 3-3 week on the diamond, with victories over Felician University and Molloy University.

Raposo got it done on both ends of the field last week, registering two pitching wins and batting .438. The STAC standout tossed a three-hitter with seven strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Felician and earned the win in a 9-8 ECC victory over Molloy. Raposo also went 7-for-16 at the plate for the week, with seven runs scored, a stolen base and four RBI. Her seven hits included three doubles and a triple.

STAC (10-14, 1-1 ECC) next meets Mercy University on Tuesday (March 26) in an ECC twin bill that starts at 2:30 pm at Spartan Field.
