Mahki Matthews Earns NFF Hampshire Honor Society Distinction

Mahki Matthews of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Sprint Football team has been selected to the 2023 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. The Spartan Student-Athlete was among 52 players from nine Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) member institutions selected for the prestigious honor, in the third season that sprint football players were recognized for the award.

This honorable academic distinction was bestowed upon 1,734 players from 328 schools that qualified for membership in the society's 17th year. In order to qualify for the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, student-athletes must have completed their final year of playing eligibility, attained a minimum GPA of 3.2, met all NCAA/NAIA/sprint football-mandated progress towards degree requirements and have been a starter or significant contributor.
