St. Jacob Diodonet Qualifies for Fourth Consecutive NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships

St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Track & Field standout St. Jacob Diodonet has qualified to compete in the NCAA Division II National Championships, which will be held at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg Kansas on March 8th & 9th.

Diodonet, the senior sprinter from West Milford, NJ, will take to the track in the 400 Meter Dash, where his currently nationally ranked 18th with a time of 47.76.

However, this is not unfamiliar territory for Diodonet, as this will be his fourth consecutive appearance at the Division II Indoor National Championships. In 2016 as a freshman, St. Jacob finished 13th in the 400 meter dash, Diodonet followed that up with a 12th place finish in the 400 as a sophomore, and last year, in his junior season, he finished 16th in the 400 and 15th in the 200 meter dashes respectively.

St. Jacob Diodonet will graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas College in May with a degree in Criminal Justice.
 
Saint will take to the track on March 8th in the first round of the championships, with the sprinters set to race in the 400 at approximately 5:20pm EST/4:20pm CST. You can watch all of the action LIVE on NCAA.com.
