New York, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Track and Field team returned to action Friday, competing in the Ramapo College Season Opener at the 168th Street Armory in New York City.
Headlining the women's performances were Skylar Moreno earned a second place finish in the 600 Meter Run, crossing the finish line with a time of 1:41.46 and setting a new school record. On the men's side of the ledger, Jayden Bennermon placed third in the High Jump, leaping 1.86 meters/6'1.25", while Emmanuel Mena Jimenez took a third place finish in the Weight Throw with a toss of 17.05 meters/55'11.25".
St. Thomas Aquinas returns to action next Saturday, January 28, as the Spartans travel to OceanFirst Bank Center in West Long Branch, N.J. for the Monmouth University Winter Classic
