St. Thomas Aquinas College's Jayden Bennermon was named the East Coast Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, after the Spartans competed in the Ramapo College Opener last Friday at the historic 168th Street Armory in New York City.

Bennermon (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) won the High Jump in a field of 11 with a leap of 1.92m (6' 3 1/2”) and finished 10th in the Triple Jump field of 19 with a vault of 12.91m (42' 4 1/4”).

The Spartans return to action next Saturday, January 27, as the Spartans travel to Boston, Massachusetts for the UMass Lowell Riverhawk Invitational.
