St. Thomas Aquinas College's Jayden Bennermon was named the East Coast Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, after the Spartans took part in the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet in Pennsylvania.

Bennermon (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) won the high jump (1.95m) and triple jump (14.74m) events and placed third in the long jump (6.75m) at the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet last weekend. His triple jump mark met the NCAA DII provisional standard, leads the ECC and ranks third in the NCAA East Region, and stands as a new STAC program record.

Select STAC Track & Field athletes have been invited to compete at the prestigious Penn Relays on April 25-27 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
