St. Thomas Aquinas College's Emily Strunk was named the East Coast Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, after the Spartans participated in the TCNJ Invitational last weekend in Ewing, N.J.

Strunk (Stroudsburg, Pa.) won the shot put (12.89m) in a field of 34 and placed sixth in the discus (34.11m) at the TCNJ Invite and Multi.

STAC next competes in the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet on Friday, April 19 (11:30 a.m.) at Gregory-Douds Field at Eiler-Martin Stadium in East Stroudsburg, Pa.
