St. Thomas Aquinas College Indoor Men's Track & Field star Emmanuel Mena Jimenez has qualified to compete in the NCAA Division II National Championships, which will be hosted by Pittsburg State University and Explore Crawford County, and held at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kansas on March 8-9.

Mena Jimenez (Sr./West Haverstraw, N.Y.) will be making his second appearance at a Division II National Championship, having competed in the Discus event at the outdoor meet last May. In his first indoor championship, Manny will battle D2's best in the Weight Throw competition, where he finished regular season ranked 15th in the country with a toss of 20.22m (66'4.25"). Mena Jimenez placed first in the East Region in the event and hit his first provisional mark back in early December at TCNJ Winter Opener.
