Three Spartans Earn USTFCCCA Outdoor Track & Field All-Region Honors

On Wednesday, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its 2024-25 Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-Region awards. Jayden Bennermon, Adam Lenn and Emmanuel Mena Jimenez of St. Thomas Aquinas College were selected for the prestigious honor in recognition of their outstanding individual spring seasons.

Bennermon (Sr.|Jumps|Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) finished Fourth at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge (14.44m), Second at the Ramapo Track & Field Invitational (14.41m), First at the Misericordia Twilight 2025 (14.36m), First at the 2025 TCNJ Invitational (14.33m), First at the ESU All-American Meet (15.24m), First at Penn Relays (14.79m), First at the ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (14.34m) and Sixth at the West Point Twilight (14.13m) in eight Triple Jump events. Additionally, Bennermon was selected for ECC First Team All-Conference honors and took home the ECC's Men's Field Athlete of the Week award on three separate occasions.

Mena Jimenez (Gr.|Throws|West Haverstraw, N.Y.) took First at the Ramapo Track & Field Invitational (53.80m), First at the 2025 TCNJ Invitational (51.94m), First at the ESU All-American Meet (55.63m), Second at Penn Relays (51.60m) and Second at the ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (51.26m) in five Discus events. Manny scored First Team All-Conference kudos from the ECC and received the ECC's Men's Field Athlete of the Week honor on three separate occasions. He has also qualified for the upcoming NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.

In addition, Manny placed Second at the Ramapo Track & Field Invitational (58.50m), First at the Misericordia Twilight 2025 (61.76m), First at the 2025 TCNJ Invitational (62.75m), First at the ESU All-American Meet (63.63m), Thirteenth at Penn Relays (59.43m) and First at the ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (63.03m) in six Hammer Throw events. Mena Jimenez also netted First Team All-Conference honors from the ECC and qualified for the upcoming NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.

Lenn (Sr.|Throws|Thiells, N.Y.) took Fourth at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge (14.68m), First at the Ramapo Track & Field Invitational (15.97m), Second at the Misericordia Twilight 2025 (14.97m), Third at the 2025 TCNJ Invitational (14.47m), Sixth at the ESU All-American Meet (13.84m) and Third at the ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (14.31m) in six Shot Put events. Adam was also selected for ECC Second Team All-Conference honors.

Additionally, Adam finished Fourth at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge (48.01m), Fourth at the Ramapo Track & Field Invitational (42.74m), First at the Misericordia Twilight 2025 (46.44m), Second at the 2025 TCNJ Invitational (43.27m), Fourth at the ESU All-American Meet (43.70m), Twenty First at Penn Relays (46.10m), Third at the ECC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (45.58m) and Fifth at the West Point Twilight (47.38m) in eight Discus events. Lenn also scored Second Team All-Conference honors from the ECC.
