Staten Island, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Track and Field team closed out its Fall 2024 Semester schedule at the Wagner College Seahawk Shootout, which was held on Friday afternoon at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
On the day, Jayden Bennermon was once again dominant in the High Jump event for the maroon and gold. Bennermon placed second with a leap of 2.00m (6'6.75"). Meanwhile the Women's 4x400 Meter Relay team of Isabella Farino-Esposito, Sophone Michel, Zoe Merryman and Emma Neil finished 10th, clocking in at a time of 4:23.31.
STAC returns to action after the holidays and mandatory NCAA Division II break, as the Spartans will open 2025 at the Wagner College Invitational on Friday, January 3. The one-day event will be held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.
