St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball players Briana Sloper and Shpresa Liharevic received All Conference Recognition for their outstanding performances.  Sloper was named to the All Conference First Team while Liharevic was named to the ECC All Rookie Team.

Sloper leads the Lady Spartans in scoring and rebounding with 16.5 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game.  The sophomore has shot fifty percent from the floor and seventy-four percent from the free throw line.  She has topped the ECC in scoring in conference only play and leads the ECC in field goal percentage.  Sloper was named ECC Player of the Week three times this season.  

Liharevic is averaging 6.7 points per game for the Lady Spartans.  The freshman has made 26 three pointers in her rookie campaing and is shooting ninty percent from the free throw line.  Liharevic was named the ECC Rookie of the Week twice this season.
