The St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball team lost to Dowling, 68-59.  Briana Sloper had 22 points and 9 rebounds.  Colleen Vogel added 8 points while Sylvia Davis, Theresa Dowling and Aysha Williams each chipped in 6 points.

The Lady Spartans struggled from the floor shooting 32.7 percent (18-55) to Dowlings 46.3 percent (25-54).  Dowling had four players score in double figures with Seja Gamble leading the way with 15 points.   Kelly Puwalski added 13 points including to late three pointers to keep STAC out of reach.  Dowling went 7-15 from behind the arc compared to STAC's 4-16.

The Lady Spartans will be back in action next Saturday when they travel to Chestnut Hill College for a 2:00 game.
