Lusk, Sloper Receive All Met Awards

St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball coach Kim Lusk was named the All Met Division II coach of the year while junior forward Briana Sloper was named to the All Met team for the second year in a row.  Both received their awards at Tuesday nights 78th Met Writers Association Dinner. 

Lusk, a first time All Met Coach of the Year was named the East Coast Conference Coach of the Year following the Lady Spartans 21-7 finish.  In her third year at the helm she guided STAC to a regular season title and a 17-4 ECC record.  

Sloper led the Lady Spartans for the third year in scoring and rebounding averaging; 17.7 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game.  The junior shot 44.9% from the floor and 79.6% from the foul line.  Sloper was named the ECC Co-Player of the Year and to the Daktronics All-Region 2nd Team.  Sloper was named to the All Met team following her sophomore year as well.
