The 2011-2012 St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball team tied for the 25th spot on the WBCA Academic Team Honor Roll with a team GPA of 3.415. The Lady Spartans have been ranked on the Academic Top 25 in Division II for 3 out of the last 4 years, including #1 in the country in 2008-2009.
STAC finished the 2011-2012 season with an overall record of 18-10 advancing to the ECC Championship game. The Lady Spartans will return 8 players, including 3 starters from the '11-'12 squad.
