St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball player, Briana Sloper was named to the Daktronics All Region, 2nd Team for the second consecutive year.  Sloper was a 1st team All ECC player that guided the Lady Spartans to an 18-11 season averaging 17.1 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game. 

Sloper finished her career as STAC's NCAA Division II all time leading scorer with 1,885 points and leading rebounder with 873.  The forward led the Lady Spartans in scoring in all four years, helping them advance to the ECC playoffs each year.  Sloper was named the ECC Rookie of the Year as a freshmen and the co-player of the year as a junior.  She earned All Region recognition for the first time her junior year as the Lady Spartans finished 21-7 and winning the ECC regular season. 

Sloper will graduate in May with a degree in psychology and was named to the CoSida Academic All American Team.
