St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Basketball player Ruth Adams was named the East Coast Conference Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans' 2-0 week on the court.
Adams averaged 21.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in two games (Nov. 13 vs. Bloomfield: W, 96-58 and Nov. 16 at Pace: W, 85-78) last week. The redshirt senior guard from San Diego, CA shot 80.9 percent (17-for-21) from the field, 100.0 percent (1-for-1) from three and 58.3 percent (7-for-12) from the foul line. Ruth also picked up 5 steals and 2 blocks for the Spartans.
St. Thomas Aquinas (4-0) hits the road to take on Georgian Court on Wednesday, November 20 in an 8:00 pm start before returning to Aquinas Hall to host Caldwell in another big regional matchup on Saturday, November 23 at 1:00 pm.
