St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Basketball player Sarah Ericson was named the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Division II/III Player of Week, for a second consecutive week, on Tuesday following a sweep of contests against the University of the District of Columbia (68-62) and the College of Staten Island (74-55) last week.

Ericson (Norwich, Conn.) averaged 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game over two contests last week for STAC. The junior guard tallied 21 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out three assists, and forced two steals in 38 minutes versus the Firebirds before recording 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals in 38 minutes against the Dolphins. Ericson also shot 41.9 percent (13-of-31) from the field, 33.3 percent (5-of-15) from three and 92.3 percent (12-of-13) from the foul line in a 2-0 week. She ranks second in the ECC and fifth in the NCAA East Region in scoring with 17.0 points per game.
