Pleasantville, N.Y. - Four Spartans scoring in double figures, along with a complete team effort on both sides of the ball, allowed the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Basketball team to snap their five-game losing streak with a 65-63 victory over Pace University on Sunday afternoon at the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center in Westchester County.
STAC moves to 2-5 on the season, while Pace drops to 2-6 on the year.
Bailey Chapman led maroon and gold offense with 17 points, while Karolina Jaruseviciute (14 points and 10 rebounds) and Syrita Faraj (12 points and 10 rebounds) each posted double-doubles and Trinity Cheatom chipped in another 13 points. Arianna Stockinger led all scorers, recording 20 points for the host Setters.
St. Thomas Aquinas shot 51.1 percent from the field (24-47) and 50.0 percent from three (5-10), while Pace shot 34.8 percent (23-66) from the floor.
STAC NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Seven Spartans logged double-digit minutes in the non-conference contest.
- Trinity Cheatom led the maroon and gold with four assists on the day.

- STAC out-rebounded Pace by a 35-27 margin, with both Karolina Jaruseviciute and Syrita Faraj grabbing a game-high 10 boards apiece for the Spartans.
- St. Thomas Aquinas picked up five steals, with the Setters turning the ball over on six separate occasions.
- The Spartans earned advantages in two team statistical categories over Pace: Points in the Paint (36-16) and Bench Points (9-2).
- The game featured two ties and ten lead changes.
- STAC's largest lead of the game came with just over seven minutes to play in the opening quarter, when Spartans led by six points, 6-0, on a Bailey Chapman jumper.
- Pace held a 31-29 advantage going into the halftime locker room.
- Bailey Chapman led all scorers with 11 first half points for the Spartans, while shooting both 100.0 percent (4-of-4) from the floor and from beyond the arc (3-of-3).
- STAC best shooting quarter came in the final stanza, with the maroon and gold hitting 7 of its 12 total shots for a 58.3 field goal percentage, 1 of its 2 three-point attempts for a 50 percent clip and 8 of 8 from the foul line for a 100.0 percent rating.
PACE NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS:

- Arianna Stockinger led the Setters with 10 first half points, while shooting 42.9 percent the floor (3-of-7), 50.0 percent from distance (2-of-4) and 100.0 percent from the charity stripe (2-of-2).
