The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team lost at Philadelphia University, 16-5.  Freshman Johannah Mitchell along with sophomore Anne Buttafuoco each scored two goals for STAC.  Lindsey Lawless had one goal for the Lady Spartans.

Mitchell scored STAC's first goal with 18:46 left in the first half to make the score 3-1 in favor of the Rams.  Philadelphia rattled off five goals before the Lady Spartans were able to retaliated with a second goal by Mitchell.  Down, 11-2 at the break the Lady Spartans added three more goals late in the second half.  Jen Kugler had 13 saves for STAC.

The Lady Spartans will be back in action on April 15th when they take on cross town rival Dominican College.
