The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team lost at Molloy, 19-7 on Tuesday afternoon.  Lindsey Lawless, Anne Buttafuoco and Sara Schmidt each scored two goals while Maryanne Kugler added one.

Down 3-0, Lawless scored the first goal for STAC with 23:53 on the clock.  Molloy added another goal before Schmidt struck with her first goal of the season.  Kugler added a goal minutes later to bring STAC within two, 5-3.  Buttafuoco scored twice for STAC at the end of the half as Molloy took an 11-5 lead into the break. Molloy scored eight consecutive goals to open the second half. Lawless and Schmidt each added goals for STAC in the final five minutes of the game. Jen Kugler had 13 saves for STAC. The Lady Spartans will play Philadelphia University on Tuesday at 4:30.
