The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team beat Manhattanville College, 22-9.  Margaret Sharp and Genevieve Stickney led the Lady Spartans with 7 goals each while Samantha Lowney added 4 goals.  Kaitlyn Lonergan recorded 6 saves in the win.  

The Lady Spartans took received two quick goals from Stickney to start the game off 2-0 in the first minute and a half.  A goal from Sharp aling with another from Stickney eventually opened a 4-1 lead for STAC. The Valiants would not back down quietly as they tied the game at 5 up with 18 minutes remaining in the half.  

The Lady Spartans recoded 8 more goals before the break to take a 13-7 lead at half time.  STAC scored another 9 unanswered goals to open the second half and held a 22-5 lead with five minute left in the game.  Ruth Pluviose, Kellie Kucinski, Sabrina Prestano and Victoria Gregson all added one goal for STAC.  

The Lady Spartans will host Dominican College on Saturday at 5:00 p.m at Torne Valley Sports Complex.
