The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team won their 4th game in a row beating visiting Findlay, 19-9 on Monday afternoon. Kellie Kucinski led the way for the Lady Spartans with 5 goals and 1 assist. Freshman Sabrina Prestano scored a career high 4 goals while Samantha Lowhey and Genevieve Stickney each added 3 goals.
STAC took control of the game early as Ruth Pluviose scored to make it 9-2 with 11 minutes remaining in the first half. Pluviose's goal was assisted by Kucinski who had already tallied 3 goals of her own. The Lady Spartans held a 12-4 goal at the break with five different players scoring in the first half.
Pluviose finished with 2 goals and Margaret Sharp and Victoria Gregson eached added 1 goal for STAC. Kaitlyn Lonergan had 8 saves for the Lady Spartans who are now 4-0. STAC will return to action on March 9th when they travel to AIC.
