The St. Thomas Aquinas lacrosse team beat Chestnut Hill, 19-8 on Thursday afternoon.  Margaret Sharp had 5 goals and 5 assists to lead the Lady Spartans.  Samantha Lowney, Kellie Kucinski and Genevieve Stickney each had 4 goals while Lowney added 3 assists.  Kaitlyn Lonergan had 12 saves in the win.

STAC opened the game outscoring the Griffins 8-0 behind three goals from Sharp.  Sabrina Prestano added a first half goal as STAC held onto an 11-2 lead at the half.  The Lady Spartans received a strong defensive performance from Kelly Moresi and Samantha Silvestri.  Alexas Serras added a goal and an assist.  

STAC will return to action on Saturday when they host Findlay at 1:00 p.m.
