The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team won their second game of the season with an 18-2 victory over Nyack.  Sabrina Prestano had a team high 6 goals for the Lady Spartans.  Margaret Sharp had 5 goals and 3 assists while Genevieve Stickney had 3 goals and 2 assists.

Ruth Pluviose opened the scoring for STAC at the 27:36 mark.  Nyack responded with a goal one minute later but it was all STAC the rest of the half.  The Lady Spartans held a 14-1 lead at the break.  Alexis Serras had 2 goals a 1 assist and Samantha Lowney added a goal.  

Kaitlyn Lonergan had 3 saves for STAC as the Lady Spartans defense battled off the Warriors.  STAC will return to action on Thursday when the face Dominican College.
