The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team lost at West Chester, 16-5 yesterday aternoon.  Margaret Sharp and Genevieve Stickney each scored two goals for STAC.  Sharp added two assists and Samantha Lowney scored the other goal.

Lowney, Stickney and Sharp each scored first half goals giving STAC a 3-2 lead for the majority of the first half.  However, West Chester outscored them 5-0 to finish the half and continued to grow their lead early into the second half.  Kaitlyn Lonergan had 6 saves for the Lady Spartans.

STAC will return to action when they host Mercy College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
