The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team fell to LIU Post, 13-5 on Saturday afternoon. Samantha Lowney and Kellie Kucinski each scored two goals for the Spartans and Genevieve Stickney added one.  Kaitlyn Lonergan had 6 saves for STAC.

Senior Sam Lwoney scored the Spartans first goal at the 25:53 mark in the first half to tie the game at 1-1.  The Pioneers dominated the rest of the half outscoring the Spartans 8-1.  STAC opened the second half with back to back goals; one from Kucinski and one from Lowney.  STAC put up a hard fought secong half scoring four goals to the Pioneer's five.   

LIU Post moves to 7-0 in ECC play and the Spartans are 4-2 and 8-5 overall.  STAC will play at Bridgeport on Wednesday.
