The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team lost 19-4 on Thursday afternoon.  Caroline Finnen scored two goals and added one assist for the Spartans.  

Alyson Brennan scored the Spartans first goal of the game off an assist from Finnen.  Later in the first half Finnen scored off an assist from Brennan.  The Mavericks held a 10-2 lead over the Spartans at the half.  Grace Davidson and Brittani Sergio each scored two first half goals for the Mavericks.  Davidson finished the game with six goals.  

Danielle Heady also scored for the Spartans off a free position shot in the second half.  Laura Delorenzo had 6 saves while Katherine Feigenbaum had 3 saves in goal for the Spartans.

The Mavericks held a 34-14 advantage in shots.  STAC will return to action on Saturday when the travel to UDC.
