St. Thomas Aquinas College's Hailey Galison has been named the ECC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 21-3 victory over the University of the District of Columbia last Saturday at Spartan Field.
Galison (Wantagh, N.Y.) scooped up a game-high 13 ground balls and caused a game-high five turnovers to go with four draw controls in STAC's triumph over the Firebirds. The graduate student defender added four goals and two assists in an outstanding two-way effort for the maroon and gold
STAC (4-8, 1-2 ECC) next hosts Dominican University in a non-conference matchup at Spartan Field on Thursday, April 11 at 3:00 p.m.
