St. Thomas Aquinas College's Hailey Galison has been named the ECC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans thrilling 12-10 road victory over Caldwell University last Thursday in New Jersey.
Galison (Wantagh, N.Y.) posted eight ground balls, six caused turnovers, and six draw controls in a 12-10 road win over the Cougars last week. In addition to her defensive dominance, the STAC graduate student midfielder added six points on five goals and an assist.
STAC (2-1) heads out on its two-match, spring break tour, first visiting Virginia State University on Tuesday, March 11. The opening draw between the Spartans and the Trojans is set to get underway at 2:00 p.m. in Ettrick, Va.
