St. Thomas Aquinas College's Hailey Galison has been named the ECC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, following the Spartans 21-20 season opening setback to American International College last Saturday at Spartan Field.
Galison (Wantagh, N.Y.) dropped 10 points on five goals and five assists in St. Thomas Aquinas’ one-goal loss to the Yellow Jackets. The STAC graduate student midfielder also led the Spartans in shots (15), shots on goal (11), draw controls (13), ground balls (6) and caused turnovers (3).
STAC (0-1) hosts Chestnut Hill College on Friday, February 28 for a 2:00 p.m. non-conference tilt at Spartan Field in Sparkill, N.Y.
