Women's Lacrosse Falls to No. 24 Dominican, 22-2

Orangeburg, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Lacrosse team dropped a 22-2 decision to No. 24 IWLCA-ranked Dominican University on Monday afternoon at O'Brien Field.

STAC falls to 3-10 overall, while Dominican improves to 13-1 with their 12th straight win.

Hailey Galison tallied her team-leading 42nd goal of the year, while Katelyn Cerrato scored her 32nd of the season to lead the Spartans' offense on the day. Goalie Lilah Magenheimer (L, 3-7) got the start in net for the maroon and gold and stopped 7 of 29 shots faced.

Meanwhile, Dominican was led by Madelyn Grella, who tallied six goals and five assists, while Grace DeStasio added five goals. Teammates Caitlin Costello (2 goals, 2 assists), Erica Ortiz (2 goals, 2 assists), Ellie Brouwer (2 goals), Gianna Longobucco (1 goal, 1 assist), Josie Lettieri (1 goal), Jordana Tomasetti (1 goal), Lea Henke (1 goal) and Payton LaVallee (1 goal) added to the totals both on the scoreboard and the scoresheet. Goalies Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (W, 13-1), 0 Saves, Emma Crater, 0 Saves, Emma Crater, 0 Saves and Dynastee Ramos, 1 Save all saw action in the cage for the Chargers.
