Campion Records Season High Thirteen Saves

The Lady Spartans fell to visiting Dowling College in their ECC home opener at the North Rockland Soccer Association.  Dowling got off to a quick start which included three goals in the first half and STAC was unable to overcome the deficit.

The Golden Lions controlled the tempo of the game, registering twenty-seven shots to STAC's eight.  They kept pressure on the Lady Spartan's defense through their vigorous attacks coming from almost every position.  Freshmen goalkeeper Cynthia Campion warded off thirteen attempts, recording a career high.

The Lady Spartans return to action on Saturday when they visit conference opponent NYIT at noon.
