#6 Regionally Ranked Bridgeport Too Much for Spartans

The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss to the University of Bridgeport yesterday.  The Spartans were unable to get on the scoreboard for the third consecutive game as they were outshot 29-7 by the Purple Knights.  The Knights had four different scorers in the first half  shutting out the Spartans 4-0.  Bridgeport's junior, Sophia Hoflin scored two goals for the game.

The Spartan's Kayla Hubela and Katherine Dapolito had three shot attempts each.  The Spartans will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Concordia College for their last road game.  They will complete their season with a home game against Adelphi on Tuesday, October 28th at Herb Reisman Field.  Game time is slated for 6:30pm.
