The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team dropped a hard fought game at home to C.W. Post, 1-0.  STAC goal keeper Jeanett Gibson had ten saves for the Lady Spartans.  Nicole Biolsi had a shot on goal that was saved by Nicole Fierro of C.W. Post. 

The Lady Spartans defense did a good job limiting the Pioneers looks on goal.  "I'm pleased by our efforts today, Post is a regionally ranked team and we played them tough" commented head coach Nicole Ballou.

STAC will play Georgian Court next Thursday on the road and then be back for the final home game of the season on Saturday October 31st against Chestnut Hill.  Saturday's game will be senior day for the Lady Spartans.
