The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team scored a late goal in the first half as junior Nicole Biolsi turned on a defender and shot the ball into the top left corner.  Liz Grondwolt tied the game in the second half when she scored off a pass from Michealle Kelly.  Felcian was able to pull out the win with :57 seconds remaining in overtime to earn the victory.

Biolsi's second shot on goal with just seconds before the horn to end the first half was deflected by the Golden Falcon's goal keeper Shaneil Lorenzo.  Lady Spartans net tender Jeanette Gibson recorded eleven saves as Felician outshot STAC 14-5 for the game. Felician's Derien Jacobowitz became the schools all time leader in goals (29) with todays hat trick.  Jacobowitz's game winner came off an assist by Stephanie Jimenez.

The Lady Spartans will return to action on Tuesday, September 8th as they travel to Goldey-Beacom College (0-2).  Both teams will be looking for their first win of the season.
