The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team struggled in their opening game against LeMoyne College at the AIC Classic in Springfield, MA.  Liz Gronwoldt had three shots on goal while Tori Matt added two.   LeMoyne received two goals apiece from Megan O'Shea and Christina Harrison.  Gabriele Ariola and Caitlin O'Rourke each added a goal for the Dolphins.  Freshman forward Christie Morano assisted on both of O'Shea's goals and freshman midfielder Jennifer Fabian had a hand in each of the final two goals of the game. 

Senior goal keeper, Jeanette Gibson had eight saves in her first game back after taking one season off.  The Lady Spartans will face AIC tomorrow at 2:00 for the second game of the classic.
