The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team was recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for their team GPA for the 2009-2010 academic year.  The Lady Spartans had a team GPA of 3.31.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced the 2010 Team Academic Award winners and three ECC squads were named recipients.  Along with the Lady Spartans were the Dowling men's soccer team as well as the University of Bridgeport women.  A total of 635 soccer teams (194 men and 441 women) across the three divisions posted a grade point average of 3.0 or higher to garner NSCAA Team Academic Award.
