The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team lost to Molloy, 5-4.  Tori Matt scored two goals for STAC while Sara Rusciano and Liz Gronwoldt each added one.  Rusciano along with Maria Morgana and Katherine Dapolito each had assists.

Both teams lit up the scoreboard in the opening minutes of action as Molloy scored their first goal at 43:23 and the Lady Spartans responded with Matt's first goal two minutes later.  Rusciano assisted on the first STAC goal and then added a goal of her own at 36:54 to give the Lady Spartans a 2-1 lead. The Lions were able to even the score prior to the break off a goal from Nicole Valetine. Valentine added two more goals in the second half as the Lions regained a 4-3 lead.  Gronwoldt's goal came at 28:40 off an assist fom Katherine Dapolito.  Jeanette Gibson had 10 saves for STAC.

The Lady Spartans will return to action on Monday when they travel to Bloomfield for a 3 p.m. game.  Today's game was senior day for the Lady Spartans three seniors; Nicole Biolsi, Jeanette Gibson and Maria Morgana.
