The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team lost to Mercy College, 3-1 in Saturday evenings ECC game.  Vicky Saravia scored her first goal as a Lady Spartan, heading in a ball in front on the net. 

Saravia's goal started as a corner kick that was headed from Tori Matt over to the front of the net where Saravia was able to complete the job and knock it in over the head of Mercy's goal keeper, Krystal Guerrero.  Guerrero had 4 saves for the Mavericks. 

Jackie Karras scored two goals for Mercy while Viridiana Ortega scored the other goal.  Julia Karl had 3 saves for STAC.

The Lady Spartans will travel to Felician College on Wednesday for a 5:00 game.
