The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team lost to NYIT, 2-1 in Monday afternoons contest.  The Lady Spartans came back to tie the game at 1-1 off a first half goal from Mae Comerford.  The Bears scored early in the second half and were able to hold the Lady Spartans off.  Julia Karl had 3 saves for STAC.

The Lady Spartans finished the season at 2-11-2, one win and four losses better then the 2010 season.  Tori Matt led STAC with 17 points this season off 7 goals and 3 assists.  Freshman Mae Comerford had 3 goals and 2 assists for the Lady Spartans while Becky Torres and Vicky Saravia each had 1 goal this season.  Julia Karl recorded 88 saves for the Lady Spartans this season.
