The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team lost to Queens, 3-0. The Lady Spartans held off a tough Queens team for the first half. The Knights scored all of their goals in the second half, one off a penalty kick. Julia Karl had six saves for STAC.
Lorena Russi scores the first two goals for Queens. Brittany Silipo scored an unassisted goal to give the Knights a 3-0 lead and secure the win. The Lady Spartans had three shots on goal; one from Mae Comerford, Kira Sherwood and Paola Garcia.
The Lady Spartans will host Bloomfield College on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
