The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team beat Bloomfield College, 3-1 in this afternoon's game.  Tori Matt had 2 goals and 1 assist.  Mae Comerford added the Lady Spartans other goal while Becky Torres had an assist.  Julia Karl had 7 saves for STAC.

Bloomfield scored first off a free kick a little over 6 minutes into a game.  Matt scored her first goal to tie the game around the 11 minutes mark off an assist from Torres.  Comerford broke open the tie at the 65 minute mark, as Matt chipped the ball up ahead and Comerford was able to score it.  Matt added an insurance goal for the Lady Spartans in the final minutes of action to lead STAC to the 3-1 win.

Matt had 5 shots on goal while Comerford had 2 and Torres added 1.  Guevara had 5 saves for Bloomfield.  The Lady Spartans will host Bridgeport on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
