Francesca Giglio of the St. Thomas Aquinas Women's Soccer team was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for her strong play at Daemen College where she scored her first collegiate goal.
Giglio made her lone appearance of the week for the Lady Spartans an important one. With her team trailing 1-0 and under 20 minutes to play in regulation at Daemen, Giglio converted a rebound which would be enough to earn her team a 1-1 tie.
