The St. Thomas Aquinas women's soccer team is set to open their season next Thursday with a home game against Post University at 2:00 pm. The Spartans were selected 9th in the ECC pre season poll selected by the conference coaches.
The Spartans return their top three goal scorers from last season; Nicole Rivera, Victoria DiMarco and Nicole Wagner. STAC has added 8 new faces to the squad as they look to compete in the tough East Coast Conference. Bridgeport earned six of nine first place votes to top the poll with 75 points, coming off their second straight ECC and NCAA East Region Championships in 2016. STAC is scheduled to host top ranked Bridgeport on September 30th at noon.
The Spartans will play six of their first ten games at home as they look to build on their 3-13-0 finish from last season.
