On Monday evening, the East Coast Conference released its annual Women's Soccer All-Conference honors, and St. Thomas Aquinas College's Mekenzi Moreau was tabbed a Third Team selection for stellar work on the field this season.
Moreau, the sophomore midfielder/forward from Cornwall, NY registered 5 goals and 10 assists, for a team leading 20 points. Mekenzi's 39 shots taken and 3 game winning goals was tops on the women's squad.
The Spartan Women's Soccer program saw a resurgence this season, and even though the team did not qualify for postseason play, STAC finished the 2018 campaign with a 9-6-1 overall record, which points to a bright future to come for this young and talented group of athletes.
