Sparkill, N.Y.  - Four St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer student-athletes were named to the 2022 Academic All-District Team on Tuesday, as selected by the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA).
 
Seniors Amandajane Fuchs-White, Merari Rodriguez, Alessandra Santoriello and junior Kiley Metcalf picked up their first career Academic All-District honors.
 
Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in academics and athletics.
 
Honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December. 
 
For the Spartans, Fuchs-White (Red Hook, N.Y.) majors in Art Education, while Rodriguez (Newburgh, N.Y.) currently studies Exercise Science & Psychology, Santoriello (Nutley, N.J.) majors in Sports Management and Metcalf (Monroe, N.Y.) currently studies Business Management.
 
St. Thomas Aquinas posted a record of 5-10-3 (3-4-1 ECC) during the 2022 season.
