St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Soccer player Ninni Ringstad has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week, following the Spartans 1-0-1 week on the pitch.
Ringstad (Moss, Norway) scored twice to help the maroon and gold to its first victory of the season, a 4-1 decision over D'Youville on Saturday.
STAC (1-5-3, 1-1-1 ECC) hosts the University of Maine at Fort Kent in a non-conference match on Tuesday, October 8 at Spartan Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
